Cardbound: Poker RPG is a card game based on poker rules. You are Hanako, a bounty hunter in a guild who must stop the ambitions of your old partner, Kuroh.

Instructions

The game is simple: you have 8 cards in your hand, and you can choose only five to create the best poker hand to fight enemies. The stronger your hand, the more damage you deal. The same applies to enemies. When the difference between hands is greater, more damage is inflicted.

You can change cards in your hand as long as you have MP.

Challenges help you in two ways:

  • Adding +20 HP to your base stats

  • Destroying all negative field effects

In shops, you can buy health, energy (MP), or passive spells to support you.

Some enemies have special abilities:

  • Reduce damage

  • Drain MP

  • Multiple hits

  • Shields

Hi:) The sprites are from Penusbmic; the others use a custom Godot theme.
